Peñafiel is the centre of the Region and is located in an intersection where roads and cultures collide, 56 Kms. (35 miles) east from the capital of Valladolid.

It slightly over 175 Kms. (108 miles) from Madrid, and can be accessed taking the N-I and then taking road N. 122 towards Valladolid at Aranda de Duero. Peñafiel can also be accessed from the Segovia - Valladolid dual carriageway, taking exit C-213 towards Peñafiel at Cuéllar.
